Hydraulic Pump Is The Power Element Of The Hydraulic System

Edit:Jiangsu KNL Hydraulic Pump IncUpDate:Jun 21, 2018

A hydraulic pump is a power element of a hydraulic system. It is a component that is driven by an engine or an electric motor and draws fluid from a hydraulic tank to form a discharge of pressure oil and is sent to an actuator. The hydraulic pump is divided into a gear pump, a plunger pump, a vane pump and a screw pump according to the structure.

A hydraulic element that provides pressurized fluid for hydraulic transmission is a type of pump. Its function is to convert the mechanical energy of power machines (such as motors and internal combustion engines, etc.) into liquid pressure energy. There are many factors affecting the service life of the hydraulic pump, besides the pump's own design and manufacturing factors, and also related to the selection of pump-related components (such as couplings, oil filters, etc.) and operation during commissioning.

The working principle of the hydraulic pump is that the motion brings about a change in the volume of the pump chamber so that the compressed fluid gives the fluid a pressure energy.

The necessary condition is that the pump chamber has a sealed volume change.
